Field of Dreams

It’s not the most original setting for a photo, but there’s something really pretty about a girl in a field…

Work It Out

I’m sure like me, a lot of you could use a little extra motivation to hit the gym from time to time. I’ve never really understood those girls who manage to look cute while working out or the ones that put on make up to work out. I’m normally the one covered in sweat and all red in the face, but as I’ve continued to work out longer and longer, I’m starting to invest more and more in cuter gym clothes. And though I try not to spend too much on gym clothes, I have noticed the cuter/better I feel in my gym clothes, the more likely I am to hit the gym.

Pushing Peplums

The peplum trend can add unflattering volume around the hip area. However, choosing a peplum in a slimming black can help minimize this effect. It’s a fun look that can be worn from day to night! Give it a try!

DIYs I want to Try

If only I had unlimited hours to sit around and craft, create, sew, etc… Here are a few things I’ve been wanting to try lately, but just need an extra day off (or two).
I found this picture of these shorts on tumblr and think they’d be really easy to DIY. I’m sure you could either sew the jewels on or just get some fabric glue and apply each one. I like how these are done with different tones on a pair of white shorts and how the waistband was left plain. I just need to find a good pair of white shorts, then I can get to bejeweling!

This bracelet DIY is on Pinterest and the step-by-step pictures make it look pretty simple, just time consuming. I want to make this bracelet in every color imaginable though. They’d be great for layering or just wearing on their own to keep it simple.

I found this DIY through Stumble Upon at anniespandex.com a long time ago and never got around to it. These no-sew tanks are perfect for summer and the possibilities are pretty much endless. Definitely want to try this on my next day off!

I love DIYs and am always looking for more to try. Are there any DIYs you’ve done that you recommend?
