We’ve talked about face wash in the past, but we both get ADD when it comes to beauty products. There’s nothing really wrong with the old products, we’re just always looking for the next best thing.
m’s choice:
I don’t know about you all, but I tend to jump around from product to product until I find one I really like. Once I do, I stick with the product until I need a change.
I saw this video on the Today show this morning. Apparently, these shoes are part of a concept that’s supposed to challenge what we look at as beautiful, but really? I think they make the model look like she’s walking around having just crapped her pants. What do you think?

This season the beauty trends seem to be leaning towards the dark side. Try an updated, more-elegant “goth” look with a dark lip and a simple eye. For those that are timid to try this look, I think a gloss would be more suitable. I tried it by mixing some black eyeshadow with clear lip gloss before applying and was pleasantly surprised.
Fall starts in two weeks on September 22 and we could not be more excited. So, of course, we’re doing a countdown here on Bare Bones with everything this Fall’s beauty and style has to offer.
What better place to start than with the color palette… Each season, Pantone releases a Color Report with the most “directional colors” of the season based on interviews with designers at New York Fashion Week. This Fall the colors are bold with colors like “Ultramarine Green,” “Olympian Blue,” and the color of the year “Tangerine Tango.” The color report also gives us a few colors to play with as more of a neutral, such as “Rose Smoke,” “Titanium,” and “Rhapsody.”

It’s been a little over a month since Claire and I first started taking this beauty pill, and like expected, we’re not seeing much of a difference. Within the first couple of weeks we both noticed our nails to be a lot stronger, shiny and healthier, other than that…nothing.
Buy it again?
m- Personally, I do not see myself purchasing another bottle of biotin in the future. I will finish out what i have and go from there. It is nice to have strong healthy nails, but with my new head start, I plan on taking better care of them.
c- I think I would buy this again. Yes, I was hoping to see more results in my skin and hair, but I am happy with the results I’ve seen in my nails. I’ve always had issues with my nails being weak and breakable, so the change I’ve seen in my nails is enough for me. Any change I may see in my hair and skin from prolonged use is just a bonus at this point.
Have any of you taken Biotin? What were your results? Would you recommend it?
