1 Day…We’ve Gone to the Dark Side
This season the beauty trends seem to be leaning towards the dark side. Try an updated, more-elegant “goth” look with a dark lip and a simple eye. For those that are timid to try this look, I think a gloss would be more suitable. I tried it by mixing some black eyeshadow with clear lip gloss before applying and was pleasantly surprised.
6 Days…Black and Gold
Gold on its own was all over the runways for Fall, but the combination of black and gold was quite the showstopper at some shows, especially at the Dolce & Gabbana show. Black and gold can easily go tacky, but the golden embroidery on the different-textured, black fabrics at Dolce & Gabbana read as decadent and luxurious. This feeling of decadence can easily be translated into your Fall wardrobe with a few pieces of black and gold.

If you’re not used to the colored or printed skinny jeans, you might as well get there because they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. However, there’s a new spin on them this Fall. The colors are a little darker and more autumnal, but more importantly a lot of them have a waxy or metallic coating to give them a bit of texture.
