Spring is just around the corner, which means we’re going to start seeing floral prints on every other girl. However, this Spring florals are getting a trippy makeover. Expect to see a lot of prints that are mirrored, washed out, or abstracted together. It’s like seeing them through a kaleidoscope!

Keeping your own style at the office while remaining appropriate for work can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. Work is a place wear you should stand out and shine, and let’s face it, you don’t want to become an office slump. Dressing for work can be fun! Fashion Against Aids

Inspired by C’s earlier post regarding H&M’s new green line, today also marks the 5th year launch of H&M’s Fashion Against Aids line. Since 2008 H&M has collaborated with international artists and illustrators to create a custom clothing collection to raise money and bring awareness to the worldwide HIV/AIDS epidemic. This year the line comes along with colorful tribal prints and fun accessories, and 25% of each purchase is donated to HIV/AIDS prevention. With the tribal prints and the extra benefit of helping out a non – profit, I look forward to browsing the line this weekend! Some of my favorites below.

Check out the full line here.

Be Conscious

Last night, I was finally able to shop and try on some of H&M’s Conscious Collection and was pleasantly surprised.

For those of you that don’t know, the Conscious Collection, according to their website, is clothing made from “conscious materials for a more sustainable fashion future.” In other words they’re producing clothes made from organic cottons, linens and recycled materials such as polyester and wool and many more. Also, according to their website, they’re doing more than just using environmentally-friendly materials such as donating clothes to charity, using less water in their denim production and “educating garment workers in Bangladesh on their rights.” If you’d like to learn more about H&M’s conscious collection go here.
