DIY spiral galaxy tank

Cosmic, Galaxy, DIY, tank, tee, bleach

Take an old tee shirt, turn it inside out and cut into a tank (or leave as a tee). Place a garbage bag in the middle of the shirt, if you don’t want the bleach to leak through. Then, fill a spray bottle with bleach and spray random spots where you would like the highlights of the galaxies to be.

Slasher Tee

Inspiration: Nordstrom Lush Slash Back Tee $32

Nordstrom

The slash back tee DIY is as easy as it gets! Just grab an old t-shirt and a pair of sharp scissors.

Cut slits up the back of the t-shirt with about 2 inches of space in between (or whatever you prefer for the look your going for). You don’t need to worry about how straight or exact you cut the fabric, after you wash it the fabric will curl up.

You can cut the slits in a diamond, square, or any design, it’s up to you! After your shirt is cut, wet it, and throw it in the drier to rid of the blunt, straight edge look from the scissors.

Then Voila!

A new, casual slashed tee! Wear it with leggings running around town or with shorts and a bathing suit to the beach!

You can cut the neck to add a more slouchy look, and the hem around the base of the shirt and sleeves for a more frayed/curled look matching the newly slashed back.

Enjoy!
