I think I mentioned this song a couple of months ago, but I’ve had it in my head a lot lately and am still not annoyed by it, so I figured I’d share it again. It’s off of Tanlines most recent album, Mixed Emotions, which I also recommend.

10 Days…Songs to Welcome Spring With
I couldn’t decide if I wanted to call this post “songs to welcome Spring with” or “songs to ride your bike to” or “songs to have a picnic to” because they all seem like appropriate activities to do while listening to the following music.
Angus and Julia Stone – Big Jet Plane

Mungo Jerry – In the Summertime (yes, this is the song from Wedding Crashers)
The Be Good Tanyas – Littlest Birds
Vampire Weekend – Diplomat’s Son
Some are old, some are new, but all of these songs are great to listen to on that first day where you really feel Spring. So put on a pretty sundress and hop on your bike with your Mp3 player or roll down all the windows in your car and turn these up really loud.
