Weekend Wind Down

print, tribal, body con, open back, dress, sheath, embroidered, nordstrom, sale, deal, bare bones, barexbones

I love the print on this dress and the subtle, colored embroidery. Plus, it has an open back! Pair this with some nude wedges and you’re set for any summer night.

With the weekend coming to a close, what better way to stave off that hangover and upcoming work week woes than some online sale shopping. Here are a few items I found across the web from some of my favorite sites, and they’re all under $50!

Free Spirited Summer

*All images link to source*

Summer is winding down and of course, I can’t help but feel I haven’t really done much. In my mind, summer is a time for adventure, to get away, to be reckless. I haven’t had that sense of escape yet, but there’s still promise in the coming month.

I hope that all of you take the chance to free your spirit at least once this summer.

DIYs I want to Try

If only I had unlimited hours to sit around and craft, create, sew, etc… Here are a few things I’ve been wanting to try lately, but just need an extra day off (or two).
I found this picture of these shorts on tumblr and think they’d be really easy to DIY. I’m sure you could either sew the jewels on or just get some fabric glue and apply each one. I like how these are done with different tones on a pair of white shorts and how the waistband was left plain. I just need to find a good pair of white shorts, then I can get to bejeweling!

This bracelet DIY is on Pinterest and the step-by-step pictures make it look pretty simple, just time consuming. I want to make this bracelet in every color imaginable though. They’d be great for layering or just wearing on their own to keep it simple.

I found this DIY through Stumble Upon at anniespandex.com a long time ago and never got around to it. These no-sew tanks are perfect for summer and the possibilities are pretty much endless. Definitely want to try this on my next day off!

I love DIYs and am always looking for more to try. Are there any DIYs you’ve done that you recommend?
